On May 25, 2010, a delegation from Guangxi University for Nationalities (China) led by Professor Tran Nguyen Chung - Director of the Institute of Politics and International Relations (Guangxi University for Nationalities) - came to work at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
On May 25, 2010, a delegation from Guangxi University for Nationalities (China) led by Professor Tran Nguyen Chung - Director of the Institute of Politics and International Relations (Guangxi University for Nationalities) - came to work at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.The delegation had a meeting to exchange information with many experts and lecturers of the University on training and scientific issues. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Principal of the University - chaired the meeting to receive the delegation. The two sides agreed on a number of cooperation contents to be implemented in the future: - The two sides will take turns organizing seminars on comparing the development of socialism in China and Vietnam, exchanging experiences in teaching subjects on Marxist-Leninist philosophy, Party history, etc. - Implementing cooperation in training for master's degrees in Political Science. - Exchange teachers to partner schools to teach subjects on Marxist-Leninist philosophy. In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation had a meeting with leaders and staff of the Faculty of Oriental Studies to discuss cooperation in research and training on Southeast Asian studies. Guangxi University for Nationalities is the first and long-standing Chinese partner of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The two sides have implemented joint training programs 3+1, 2+2 majoring in Vietnamese linguistics. In addition, the two schools have successfully cooperated to organize two international conferences on research and teaching of Chinese and Vietnamese in Vietnam, China and Southeast Asia in 2007 (in Nanning - China) and 2009 (in Hanoi - Vietnam).
