15 years of student scientific research movement

The Student Scientific Research Conference (SRC) of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for the 2009-2010 academic year was held on May 22, 2010. This was also an occasion to summarize the achievements of 15 years of the SRC movement of the school (1996-2010).Speaking at the opening of the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Principal of the School - reviewed the achievements over the past 15 years, affirming: “Since 1996, the School has launched and implemented an extensive scientific research program for students throughout the school... We have achieved many positive results, and we can clearly see the useful, multi-faceted, and multi-dimensional results that students' scientific research activities bring. Many students have considered research activities an indispensable need in the process of cultivating, studying and striving at the school.”. The school is a strong unit in student research, has received many certificates of merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, and many student projects have won annual awards from the Ministry. This year, the whole school has 707 research projects of 1,172 students participating. After selection, the school officially commended and awarded 74 projects by 113 students, of which 14 projects won first prizes, 31 projects won second prizes, and 29 projects won third prizes. 08 groups with outstanding achievements in student research in the 2009-2010 school year were also commended, of which 02 groups won first prizes, 03 groups won second prizes, and 03 groups won third prizes. The school awarded 06 individuals and 01 group with outstanding achievements in student research in the period 1996-2010.
