Speaking at the Conference, Dr. Nghiem Xuan Huy highly appreciated the achievements of the School in quality assurance work, and also pointed out some points that need to be improved in the quality assessment and evaluation process at the School: it is necessary to develop specific assessment tools, compare with training programs at other schools in the country and internationally, promote the role of stakeholders (especially students and employers), have incentive and reward mechanisms, have worthy investments for accredited programs, etc.
Dr. Nghiem Xuan Huy (Director of the Institute for Education Quality Assurance - Vietnam National University, Hanoi) speaking
The conference listened to many opinions exchanged from the units, in which the significance and role of accreditation work in contributing to improving the quality of training institutions as well as training programs was highly appreciated. The Faculties and affiliated departments expressed their consensus, readiness in spirit and resources to complete reports serving accreditation work at all levels (self-assessment, external assessment, peer assessment) in the 2022 plan, as well as the following years of the School Board.
Delegates attend directly at the Hall
Concluding the Conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong emphasized: The highest goal of quality assurance is to build a quality culture in educational institutions and improve and enhance training quality after accreditation. For 8 training programs(Psychology, Sociology, History, Political Science, International Studies, Archival Studies, Literature, Vietnam Studies)The Ministry of Education and Training has completed the accreditation and urgently needs to develop an enrollment plan according to the technical and economic standards (according to Decree 81 of the Government) to be implemented in 2022; for other training programs, it is necessary to urgently complete the reports to be ready for accreditation at all levels. During the implementation of teaching and training activities, lecturers and staff in faculties and departments need to save evidence to create a rich source of data so that when reports are needed, they can be used immediately. In addition, it is also necessary to pay attention to improving the quality of training programs after accreditation.
