Accompanying the two delegation leaders are 17 students from the Faculty of Economics and Culture, University of Passau. The German students come to the USSH to study Vietnamese language and Vietnamese culture, history and society at the Faculty of Vietnamese and Vietnamese; participate in exchanges and meetings with students of the University as well as other universities in Vietnam; visit famous provinces and places in our country such as Hanoi, Hue, Ho Chi Minh City. The delegation is expected to stay in Vietnam until October 5 before returning to Germany. However, some students will stay to study at the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language of the University for a period of 3 weeks - 3 months.

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh expressed his honor to welcome students from Passau University. The Rector emphasized that the University's policy is to internationalize research and training activities. Therefore, the presence of foreign professors, scholars and students will contribute to expanding the University's international relations. The Rector introduced the history, training programs and major achievements of the University to date; emphasizing the long-standing relationship with German partners such as Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Dao Minh Quang Foundation. The Rector also answered some questions from students about issues such as the differences between Vietnamese and German languages and cultures; the education system in Vietnam; the advantages and difficulties of foreign students when studying and doing research in Vietnam, etc.

The University of Passau was officially opened in 1978 and is one of the leading universities in Germany in the fields of law, business, computing, politics and culture. To date, there are about 12,000 students from more than 80 countries studying and researching at the University of Passau. The main training fields of the university are Business Administration and Economics, European Studies, Cultural History, Information Technology, Law, Development Studies, Science and Mathematics.
