Organizing an international conference to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the liberation of the South

The content of the working session was to discuss the plan to coordinate the organization of a workshop to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

At the meeting, the parties agreed on a mechanism for coordinating activities between the four universities. A project to organize an international conference “Vietnam 1975-2015: unification, integration and development” will soon be developed and approved. The conference is expected to take place on April 24-25, 2015 at Thu Dau Mot University. This is the first cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, and three universities in the Central and Southern regions to organize a major scientific event summarizing 40 years of construction and development of Vietnam since the restoration of peace.
