Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh - former Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities shared: November is always a very meaningful time for the teaching profession and teachers, an opportunity for society and students to demonstrate the tradition of respecting teachers. This month, the 206th session of the Executive Council of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which just took place in France, approved the dossier to commemorate the 650th anniversary of the death of the famous Chu Van An. Thus, after Nguyen Trai, President Ho Chi Minh and Nguyen Du, Chu Van An is the 4th person to be honored by UNESCO. With pride and respect for a person who was a Principal at the Imperial Academy - the predecessor of Hanoi University - he believes that the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities - the youngest descendant of the Imperial Academy - will create generations of elites for the country.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa - Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities said that although the idea of establishing the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities has existed for a long time, the process from idea to reality is a difficult one. From the perspective of a manager, she said that the School has, is and will always create favorable conditions to further accelerate the development process of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities. In particular, with her own experience and observations, she said that the more developed the country is, the more interested it is in the field of social sciences and humanities. The ceremony was also delighted to welcome the presence of parents from the School's Parents' Representative Board. The parents said that after three months of observing their children's learning and activities, they have put their complete trust in the teachers and the School. The Parents' Committee wishes to accompany the School in educating their children and strive so that the first class will have worthy marks as the first class of students of the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities.
