The conference brought together dozens of leading scientists, historians and international relations experts from universities and research institutes in Vietnam, France and several other countries, along with a large number of young researchers, graduate students and postgraduate students from Vietnam and France.
Today, February 20, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Hanoi organized an international scientific conference with the theme "Multidisciplinary approach in historical research and international relations in the 20th and 21st centuries: From the perspective of Vietnamese and French scholars".
The conference brought together dozens of leading scientists, historians and international relations experts from universities and research institutes in Vietnam, France and several other countries, along with a large number of young researchers, graduate students and postgraduate students from Vietnam and France.
Through in-depth and elaborate research by domestic and foreign researchers, the Conference will contribute to systematizing and updating theories, approaches and research methods of history and international relations in the 20th and 21st centuries, especially new research methods, such as transnational history, global history, environmental history, world order, economic diplomacy, cultural diplomacy, soft power...
Also at this conference, scientists suggested new research directions, new research methods and thinking in the fields of history and international relations, thereby promoting cooperation in science, technology and history education between the two countries.
