University of Social Sciences and Humanities is enrolling students for the short-term training course "Public Relations Skills - Event Organization" (basic) with certificates granted by the University, starting in 2011.
- Object:Employees, specialists at media companies, event organizers, graduates or students studying at colleges/universities.
- Target:After completing the course, students will have theoretical knowledge and professional skills in Public Relations (PR) and event organization, and be able to work directly at media-event organization companies, or in information-communication-public relations departments at agencies, departments, unions, and social organizations at home and abroad.
- Training program:Students will learn topics about: + Communication and basic issues of modern communication + Overview of PR and basic PR processes + Overview of the Vietnamese press system and the relationship between PR and the press + Press release writing skills + Press conference organization skills + Communication skills with the media + Event organization and management skills + Interviewing and press interview answering skills
- Study time: 6 weeks. 3 sessions per week.
- Application deadline: April 20, 2011
- Tuition: 1,900,000 VND/student/course. Students or alumni of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (with a degree granted by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities): 1,700,000 VND/course.
- Lecturer: are experienced lecturers, professionally trained in communication and public relations in advanced countries in the world such as Korea, England, Soviet Union of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication and public relations experts.
