4.3. Conclusion of the thesis
Decisions in the economic and family life fields, family relations
Ethnic minority families tend to have equal status and communities. However, there are still families where family decision-making is still biased towards one gender.
Factors such as ethnicity, female education, equal income between men and women, women/both men and women being the ones whose names are on the house ownership papers, both men and women being the ones managing the family's common money, and having participated in gender equality training increase the possibility of gender equality in deciding on some tasks related to the family's economic field.
Ethnic factors, both men and women being the general managers of family money, and men's age have significant effects on gender equality in a number of decisions related to the areas of family life, kinship and community relations.
12. Further research directions:
Further research on decision-making in ethnic minority families is needed to gain a more complete understanding of the reasons and factors influencing gender equality in ethnic minority families. The research should not only focus on who makes the main decisions in the family, but also on indicators that show men and women’s feelings and attitudes towards such decision-making, as well as questions about their views on gender equality in family decisions.
In the context of Industry 4.0, information technology has affected every corner of family life. The ability to access and use information technology is also a resource that enhances the decisive voice of men/women in the family, especially in ethnic minority families. The role of this factor has not been measured, so in upcoming studies, the researcher aims to study the ability to access and use information technology of men and women in ethnic minority families.

Almost the role of this factor has not been measured, so in the upcoming studies, the researchers aim to understand the accessibility and use of information technology by men and women in ethnic minority families.
