10. Summary of thesis results:
Through self-reported psychological tests, it can be seen that the client's GAD scale decreased from 19 points in session 3 to 6 points in session 12, the client's sleep quality scale also decreased from 13/21 points in session 3 to 8/21 points after session 12, and the anxiety assessment scale from 71/80 to 42/80 in session 12.
Based on the functional evaluation it can be seen that:
About the body: because the client can sleep and eat more than before.
Regarding relationships: according to the client's report, because his parents and uncles do not understand and support him, they often use hurtful words such as "weak", sick, and incompetent. The client has tried to share his feelings with others, but there has not been much encouragement. In his relationship with colleagues, the client also wants to share his problems with his boss, but the purpose is to reduce the amount of work. The client has also had trips with his colleagues and shared that it was very fun.
Regarding mental health: the client has learned how to share and name his emotions more clearly, and knows how to change negative thoughts by finding evidence and when anxiety attacks appear, knows how to apply exercises to change the state such as relaxation such as breathing exercises, muscle tension. However, these changes are only the beginning and need to be reinforced and practiced more.
11. Practical application:
Through the process of implementing the case, it can be seen that the first goal is to reduce anxiety symptoms, especially improving sleep quality, which has been basically completed when the client initially knows how to find evidence, control negative thoughts and sleep better. Because the client has not been able to connect with family members, this will be a difficulty as well as a weakness of the thesis. In addition, because the work is mainly online, it is also difficult for students to convey knowledge, the client needs more determination and perseverance. The post-intervention follow-up process also shows that the client is proactive and trying to maintain positive emotions such as regularly sharing positive statuses on social networks and helping friends.
