The thesis “Korean version of New Economic Policy – Lessons for Vietnam” analyzed the context of the birth and systematized the content of the Korean version of New Economic Policy, thereby analyzing the positive impacts and remaining limitations of the policy in the fields of economy, social security and environment to draw lessons for Vietnam. In particular, the limitations of the policy and the social debate surrounding it are the basis for Vietnam to perceive and find a more objective way to overcome them in building, implementing and developing a policy. At the same time, the success of the Korean version of New Economic Policy is also a great opportunity for Vietnam to learn from the previous experiences of Korea on the basis of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

The research results of the thesis are the basis for policy makers to refer to the lessons learned from the Korean version of the New Economic Policy in the process of formulating, implementing and developing a policy. In addition, the thesis is also a source of documents for researchers to refer to the process of researching a policy.
12. Further research directions:
Since the implementation period of the New Economic Policy lasts until 2050, the research needs more time and data. In the future, if conditions permit, the author will study the impact of this policy according to each of its original specific goals to assess which goals have been achieved and which goals have not been achieved at each level of assessment. If this can be done, the conclusions and lessons learned will be more accurate and have higher scientific value.
