10. Summary of thesis results:
The thesis provides a comprehensive view of China's energy supply development policy in Central Asia. First of all, the thesis has clarified the related concepts and arguments of Realism that can be applied to policy research. The application of Realism in research helps to explain the factors affecting China's policy in the region.
Realism also clearly shows China's goals when implementing its policy in Central Asia. In which, every action is calculated and directed towards national interests. First is to contribute to maintaining peace and stability in Xinjiang - China, then to ensure energy security and increase influence in the region.
From the analysis of opportunities and challenges as well as advantages and disadvantages, it can be seen that this policy will continue to be promoted in the coming time. Depending on the world situation, China will skillfully adjust the implementation of the policy in many different ways and activities to achieve its goals. From there, we can draw implications for Vietnam.
Thus, applying Realism to policy analysis is useful and has many advantages in explaining the subject, motive, implementation action and policy prospects. However, there are also certain limitations because Realism cannot explain the multifaceted cooperation between the two sides.
The thesis is the first research work in Vietnam to study China's energy supply development policy in Central Asia from the perspective of Realism. Therefore, the thesis has new scientific contributions such as applying the perspective of an international theory (in this case, Realism) to conduct systematic research on the planning basis, objectives, implementation process, impacts and prospects of the policy.
11. Practical application:The thesis can be used as research material for students, practitioners majoring in International Relations and readers interested in the topic of China's energy supply development policy in particular and interested in China's policy in general.
