10. Summary of project results:
This project presents an overview of research on psychological trauma and depression. In the content of the project, basic issues on psychological trauma and depression have been presented, including concepts, clinical characteristics and diagnostic criteria according to ICD-11. In addition, this project also adds to suit the actual clinical case on basic psychological problems of terminal cancer patients. In addition, the project also presents assessment and treatment methods in cognitive behavioral therapy focusing on trauma intervention, which is used as a cross-sectional intervention throughout the treatment process. The intervention results show that the client has reduced depressive symptoms, significantly reduced trauma symptoms, changed unhealthy perceptions and improved positive relationships. At the same time, the client has applied skills to build relationships, handle problems, set life goals and accept the disease condition.
11. Practical application:
From the results obtained through the process of theoretical research and clinical practice, the project has contributed more evidence of the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy in psychological intervention for psychological trauma with depressive manifestations. At the same time, the limitations and recommendations of the project also provide additional lessons and necessary information for practitioners to increase the effectiveness of future treatment.
