The selected articles in this publication focus on research issues approached from the perspective of history, psychology, religion and anthropology.
From a historical approach,Nguyen Van Khanhfocuses on studying the methods of land measurement and management in Vietnam during the French colonial period, thereby contributing to a clearer understanding of the development of the Land Administration sector, as well as fundamental changes in land management policies during the French colonial period compared to previous feudal dynasties in Vietnam. In the second article, the authorLy Tuong Van,discusses and clarifies British colonial policies in Malaya and their impact on economic transformation, with emphasis on the role of foreigners in Malaya's economic development. With the same historical approach,Pham Le HuyThis article analyzes and compares the design ideas of the 7th century Japanese capital and Thang Long Citadel from the perspective of "spying" and the design ideas of Chinese dynasties. This is an in-depth and elaborate research paper, adding valuable materials when researching this issue.
In the fourth article,Nguyen Thi TamFrom the approach of religion, anthropology, and religious sociology, we have analyzed the social and livelihood changes of the Mnong people over the past four decades, based on specific research in Dak Lak. These changes are clearly identified in the aspects of shifting production forms, trade exchange, resource exploitation, as well as changes in the division of labor in the family and in society.Pham PhuTy analyzes the influences and impacts of economic, cultural, political and artistic changes on the development of Vietnamese cultural and artistic culture in the decade before the Doi Moi period. In the sixth article,Trinh Van DinhFrom a cultural and political approach, we have studied the laws of opening up and expanding China's influence through the creation of two historical silk roads, thereby connecting with China's recently proposed one belt, one road strategy.
In the discussion section,Tran Thi Vinhhas a view and interpretation of the historical process of the relationship between the UK and the EU with 3 main milestones to thereby point out the issues of concern after Brexit for the UK, Europe and the world. In the final article,Dang Hoang Ngan and Nguyen Minh HangThere is a summary of tools for assessing religious beliefs from a psychological perspective and suggests possibilities for adaptation and application when researching religious beliefs in Vietnam today.
As well as published issues, in addition to research and discussion articles, the Journal also shares information about scientific events that have taken place and are about to take place in the scientific information section, and information introducing newly published scientific research works.
