Overview of the June meeting of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities
The conference listened to representatives of functional department leaders report on the implementation of work in May, key plans for the following months, as well as exchange and discussion opinions focusing on a number of contents: adjusting training programs, recruiting specialized high schools, recruiting regular university students and majors 2 in 2025, organizing scientific seminars, publishing publications towards the 80th anniversary of tradition and 30th anniversary of the school's founding, building a brand identity, communication products, and promoting the school.

After listening to the opinions exchanged and discussed at the Conference,
The principal concluded:
1.Continue to review the organizational structure of units in the School according to Conclusion No. 18-KL/DU dated May 26, 2025 of the Party Committee; complete and promulgate the operating regulations of units after restructuring.
2.Closely and effectively implement the 2025 enrollment projects, in which the standing unit closely follows the regulatory adjustments of the Ministry of Education and Training and VNU to promptly update the University's Admissions Council for information, discussion and agreement.
3.Basically complete the framework adjustment for undergraduate training programs in June 2025, review in the first half of July 2025, accept in mid-July 2025, and complete approval procedures in the first half of August 2025. The adjustment principle is that the School respects the professional orientation of the units, but will calculate to ensure connectivity, inter-disciplinary and in line with trends.
4.Complete and supplement some new majors, increase recruitment potential for hard-to-recruit majors and move towards "bridge" majors to conduct "inter-field".
5.Complete the training programs that have been conducted for accreditation to ensure the progress of the enrollment project of related programs, paying attention to the progress of accreditation of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities according to plan.
6.Synchronously and effectively deploy scientific seminars and forums in a series of professional activities towards the 80th anniversary of the tradition and 30th anniversary of the establishment of the School (Red River Basin International Forum, Subcommittee 5 of the 7th International Conference on Vietnam Studies, International Conference on the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Nation...).
Focus on promoting policy consulting in a practical and effective manner, demonstrating national responsibility, focusing on: 1/Thematic consulting (for localities, ministries/departments/sectors); 2/Macro consulting (strategies, major issues of the country).
7.Complete the School's identity system in June 2025 (publicize widely, listen to opinions) to start using from July 1, 2025.
- Complete the School introduction document set in June 2025 for circulation from July 1, 2025.
- Organize communication work in a new direction, focusing on improving connectivity with units.
- Continue working with partners to produce a documentary about the School to celebrate the 80th anniversary of its tradition and the 30th anniversary of its founding.
8.Develop a Project for 100% Autonomy in Regular Expenditures. Request that officials and employees have clear information to join hands and unite in building and developing the School.
9.Implement the renovation of facilities during the summer to ensure regulations, progress, quality, safety and efficiency. The responsible department will promptly complete and submit to the School Board for review and approval of the project and plan to enhance the application of technology and software in university administration to meet the requirements of digital transformation in the current context of higher education.
10.Other tasks: Implement according to issued plan.
The Board of Directors is requested to regularly urge and direct work areas, strengthen inspection work, and report to the Principal on the implementation of plans and tasks in the areas under their responsibility. The functional departments are requested to proactively deploy and ensure time, especially for key activities; heads of units widely inform and implement the Principal's conclusions at monthly meetings seriously, fully, and on schedule.
