Attending the closing ceremony, on behalf of the units under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, were leaders of the Institute of Educational Quality Assurance, the Center for Physical Education and Information Technology, the Department of Knowledge Services in Natural Sciences and Social Sciences, the Center for Library and Digital Knowledge, the Vietnam National University Hospital, the Me Tri Dormitory Management Board, and the Vietnam National University Student Support Center.
On the side of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Principal) and heads of functional departments, representatives of leaders of 04 faculties and departments with accredited training programs, and a large number of lecturers and students in the school.
On the side of Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center (TTKĐGDThang Long), there were Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung (Director), all members of the Evaluation Team of 04 training programs led by Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam.
According to the plan, the official survey program of the Evaluation Delegation of Thang Long Education Evaluation Center for 04 training programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities took place in 04 days from March 8 to March 12. At the Closing Ceremony, the representative of the Evaluation Delegation presented a preliminary report on the official survey results of 04 training programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The report emphasized: The 04 training programs that were assessed this time all belong to the oldest faculties at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, with achievements in training, scientific research, a large and high-quality teaching staff, and a reasonable training program structure, which are very prominent strengths. In the process of building the training program, the University also focused on collecting opinions from relevant parties (students, employers), and employers gave very good feedback on the quality of students after graduation,...
In addition, the Preliminary Report of the Evaluation Delegation also pointed out some remaining issues and proposed solutions to further improve the quality of training programs: periodically review the objectives and output standards (EPS); innovate the content of training programs to closely follow actual needs, increase applicability; diversify the forms and methods of assessment and evaluation in accordance with EPS; increase surveys of relevant parties on admission policies, training program content, etc.
Representing the units with accredited training programs, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan (Head of Philosophy Department) shared: After 4 days of extremely hard and urgent work, without a day off, we felt the serious and dedicated working spirit of the Evaluation Team. The teachers did not work as evaluators, but were truly friends, accompanying and learning together to help us complete the most complete evidence documents according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training. After this evaluation, we have drawn many valuable experiences, promoted our strengths, but most importantly, were suggested solutions to improve the existing problems. Once again, we would like to sincerely thank you and commit to seriously absorb and have improvement plans as soon as possible.
Speaking at the Closing Ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong expressed her deep gratitude to the Evaluation Team, whose assessments of the achievements as well as the remaining issues were very accurate and objective. On that basis, the Evaluation Team gave many valuable, sincere and humane comments on the remaining issues of the 04 training programs. With the spirit of learning, listening to adjust, after today's session, the School commits to seriously research, develop plans to improve and enhance the quality of the training programs. Because, always improving and innovating to improve the quality of training not only affirms a strong commitment to society and learners but is also a decisive factor for the existence and development of the unit in the context of increasingly strong changes in higher education today.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Thang Long Education Quality Assurance Center and the Evaluation Team, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung thanked the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for the past 4 days. Despite being busy with many intertwined tasks, she still arranged time to accompany and create the best conditions for the Evaluation Team. At any time, even outside of office hours, when the Evaluation Team needed it, the teachers still came and provided valuable information to the Team, supplementing missing evidence. That demonstrated a very professional, enthusiastic and thoughtful working spirit. We believe that all 4 training programs to be evaluated this time will have high evaluation results in all criteria. Through the working sessions with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the members of the Evaluation Team also learned a lot of experience, contributing to improving their professional knowledge and skills. Therefore, we hope to continue to accompany the University in the quality assurance activities of the training programs in the coming time.
At the end of the closing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam (Head of the Evaluation Delegation); Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung (Director of Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center) and Assoc.
