This year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi set the floor score at 18-19 points.

Benchmark scores for majors that consider Foreign Language scores may increase slightly.

Speaking with Lao Dong, Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan commented:college benchmarkThis year will generally be as stable as 2020.

Based on the 2021 high school graduation exam score distribution, it can be seen that the average scores of the subjects are not too different from 2020. Only the average score for English is slightly higher and the average score for History is slightly lower than last year. Overall, the score distribution has not changed significantly compared to 2020.

According to Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, university admission scores will often be based on criteria such as school enrollment quotas, high school graduation exam scores, and the number of candidates registering their wishes.

For SchoolUniversity of Social Sciences and Humanities- Hanoi National University, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan said that this year the school has 1,650 quotas for 31 training majors, not much change compared to last year. The number of candidates registering for wishes 1, 2, 3 is basically the same as every year.

In addition, the school has also completed the direct admission process for students from specialized high schools, students who have won national awards, and students with international certificates. The number of confirmed admissions up to the basic time is only slightly higher than last year, not much larger.

"Up to this point, the school's indexes of wishes, direct admission quotas, and 2021 high school exam score criteria are no different from last year. In the next few days, students can adjust their wishes, but in my experience, there are not many changes when students adjust their wishes after knowing their high school exam scores.

Based on that data, the school believes that the benchmark scores of some majors may increase, but only slightly, and will focus on majors that consider the admission combination D01 and D78. Some majors in group C will not have any sudden changes, and some majors may not increase but remain stable as in 2020.

The school only relies on data on admission quotas and test scores of candidates to make predictions, so it cannot be certain about the standard score. Because it also depends a lot on the adjustment of students' wishes in the coming time," said Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan.

Does Korean Studies still maintain the standard score of 30/30?

In 2020, the Korean Studies major of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi was among the majors with a record high admission score of 30/30 points.

According to Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, the reason why Korean Studies has such a high score is because 2020 is the first year that Korean Studies has recruited students independently with a not-too-high quota, many of whom have been directly admitted.

"The benchmark score for Korean Studies this year is also quite difficult to predict. However, the regulation on considering high school graduation exam scores is that candidates will be able to choose multiple wishes. If they pass the first wish, they will stop there. If not, they will continue to screen for the next wishes.

Therefore, during the upcoming time of adjusting wishes, candidates can adjust and increase their wishes," Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan shared.

The Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi advised candidates to choose their favorite major, suitable to their interests, passions and abilities.

In addition, you should also reserve lower wishes to increase the chance of admission. In addition, you can refer to the 2020 benchmark because in recent years, the benchmark of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi has been relatively stable.
