University of Social Sciences and Humanities continues to affirm its leading position within Vietnam National University, Hanoi

Accordingly, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities ranked second with a score of 94.1 (after the University of Natural Sciences), followed by the following schools: University of Economics, University of Education, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Technology, University of Foreign Languages, Vietnam-Japan University. The scoring and ranking criteria are based on comprehensive results of all aspects of the schools' activities in the 2021-2022 school year: staff work, training activities, scientific research, quality assurance, domestic and international cooperation, community service, care and support for learners, administrative work - management,... Therefore, this result is a recognition and affirmation of the key role and position of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the Vietnam National University, Hanoi in particular and the higher education system in Vietnam in general.
The 2021-2022 school year is a year with many difficulties and challenges due to the complicated developments of the Covid pandemic; the need for innovation is increasingly urgent to keep up with the rapid changes in the digital age and changes in Vietnam's education policy. However, with the close attention of the leaders of VNU, the sharp, creative and innovative thinking of the leadership team, the consensus and determination of the staff, lecturers, students and trainees, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has achieved many successes.
As in his opening speech for the new school year 2022-2023, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan shared: "The school has completed many key tasks: completing the second cycle of the school's quality assessment program, successfully consolidating the organizational structure and harmoniously arranging the staff work; basically completing the renovation of facilities; exceeding the excellent enrollment plan for all three bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs... And, above all: nearly 10,000 staff, students and pupils of the school have overcome the Covid-19 pandemic, despite hardship - but safely in two difficult school years of the entire education sector: teachers are proactive, flexible and dedicated in online teaching and learning activities combined with direct teaching; school staff continue to increase scientific research achievements, while actively participating in free psychological counseling and social support activities for the community; students persevere in overcoming difficulties to ensure their study progress, graduate on time and soon stabilize their jobs; Generations of alumni of the University of General Sciences and Humanities and partners and benefactors have joined hands to support both materially and spiritually so that the students of the University can study with peace of mind during the pandemic; The University has been commended by the Ministry of Education and Training for its excellent online teaching and learning achievements, ensuring the safety of staff and students... Those great efforts and positive results are proof that the University of Humanities has, is and will continue to strongly transform, affirming its position as a leading university in the country: modern and integrated on the basis of academics and humanities!"
