On January 27, 2023 (the 6th day of Tet), in the sweet cold weather of the Northern spring with light spring rain, apricot and peach blossoms in full bloom, a large number of staff and lecturers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities started the first working day after the Lunar New Year holiday. In the bustling, excited, joyful atmosphere, filled with laughter and joy of the spring opening day, the University was honored to welcome Prof. Dr. Le Quan (President of VNU) and the VNU delegation to wish a happy new year and share the joy.
On the occasion of the New Year, Director Le Quan sent his best wishes to the Board of Directors and all staff, lecturers and their families for a year of 2023 filled with good health, peace, happiness and success; wishing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to always be united and continue to achieve more achievements in 2023. Director Le Quan also outlined a number of key tasks that he hoped the University would focus on implementing in 2023, with three key goals: improving the quality of training and the position of the University in the university education system; strong digital transformation in all activities; training, fostering and supplementing high-quality human resources and further improving the material and spiritual life of staff and lecturers.

On the occasion of the 2022 Year-end Review, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of Leading Excellent Unit from the President of VNU. This is a recognition, encouragement and appreciation for the efforts and achievements that the University has achieved in the past challenging year. The entire Board of Directors and staff of the University are always aware that this is both an honor and a responsibility that VNU entrusts and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will strive to always be worthy of its position as one of the leading units in the group of schools under VNU. On the occasion of the Year of the Cat, President Hoang Anh Tuan sent his best wishes for a new year of good health, peace and prosperity to Director Le Quan and the delegates of the VNU Delegation.

A spring opening ceremony with a strong Vietnamese Tet flavor at the Hanoi Humanitarian House was organized simply but very solemnly, warmly, filled with joy and wishes for luck and peace. This atmosphere, this joy will spread, opening a new year of Quy Mao 2023 with a new spirit, new success.
