Receiving and working with the delegation of Hu Xiangsi Academy, Guangxi University for Nationalities (China)

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh introduced the strengths of the University's China studies. The University has a Department of Chinese Studies (Faculty of Oriental Studies) and a Center for Chinese Studies, which are units with lecturers and researchers specializing in and rich in experience in China. Every year, the University welcomes about 500-600 Chinese students to study and practice. The Principal hopes that the University and Ho Tuong Tu Academy can promote practical cooperation in the future.

Dr. Tang Lina expressed her joy when visiting and working with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. She highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between the two sides in the past time. In the coming time, Ho Tuong Tu Academy wishes to further strengthen cooperative activities such as exchanging staff and lecturers; conducting joint scientific research. In addition, she invited representatives of the University to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Southeast Asian Research Center in January 2020.

Guangxi University for Nationalities, formerly known as Guangxi Nationalities Academy, was founded in 1952. It is one of two schools in Guangxi that offer Chinese language certification exams, and is one of the places with exchange scholarships between Vietnam and China. Some of the majors in social sciences and humanities at Guangxi University are Chinese language and culture; foreign language and culture, Thai, Vietnamese, English, Lao, Politics and administrative studies; and law.
