10 majors will enroll block A students

In order to meet the training requirements and aspirations of many candidates taking the A block exam nationwide, starting from the 2010 entrance exam, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) will enroll candidates taking the A block exam in 10 majors of the school.

Majors that enroll students in block A include: Psychology (501), Management Science (502), Sociology (503), Philosophy (504), Political Science (507), Information - Library (605), Archival and Office Administration (606), International Studies (608), Tourism Studies (609), and Anthropology (614).

Also in the 2010 entrance exam, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will officially enroll students in a new major:Vietnam studies. This is a branch of science that studies Vietnam according to each major such as history, geography, language, literature, culture, economy, society, ecological environment, etc. or according to the interdisciplinary nature of the study area.

After graduating from Vietnam Studies, students are able to conduct in-depth research and teaching on Vietnam Studies; or become tour guides for the tourism industry; or work in diplomatic agencies, international organizations, representative offices, trade offices, governmental and non-governmental organizations at home and abroad.
