Currently, there are 328 international students studying at Guangxi University.

On the side of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the joint training program with Guangxi University is an active activity to implement the policy of diversifying training types, meeting the social needs of learners as well as improving training quality through international training cooperation. In response to many concerns of delegates about the major and training program, MSc. Dinh Viet Hai (Deputy Head of Training Department) said that with the similarities in political system, culture as well as the general level of development between the two countries, students after graduation will have many advantages when approaching practical work in both Vietnam and China. In addition, in the first 2 years of studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University will encourage students to go to Guangxi University to study Chinese during the summer to have the opportunity to improve their language proficiency and get acquainted with the learning environment. During the study period, the University will periodically assess the Chinese proficiency of students and commit to applying many measures to actively support students in learning Chinese. Lecturers from Guangxi University will also come to Vietnam to participate in teaching specialized knowledge to students.
