University of Social Sciences and Humanities meets 60/61 criteria

The quality accreditation certificate (cycle II) for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was issued by the President of VNU on December 28, 2012, based on the proposal of the VNU Quality Accreditation Council. According to the accreditation results of the Council, the University met the national quality standards with a rate of 98.3% (60/61 criteria met). According to regulations, to meet this standard, the basic units need to have 80% of the criteria met.Since the external assessment of the Ministry of Education and Training at the University in 2006, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has made great efforts in self-recognizing and overcoming existing limitations and shortcomings to achieve positive changes in training activities and many other areas of activities, thereby leading to remarkable results in the second cycle of the University's quality assessment. The special point in this VNU quality assessment is that the external assessment team conducted direct interviews with staff, students, graduate students and employers about all aspects of the University's activities, and applied a number of regional and international AUN standards in the assessment criteria. This result marks a big step forward for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in improving the quality of all aspects of its activities, as well as improving the quality, professionalism and effectiveness of quality assessment work throughout the University.
