In March and April 2010, the Faculty-level Student Scientific Research Conferences were successfully held. This year, the whole school had 1,172 students participating in scientific research with 707 reports.The faculties with a large number of students participating in the scientific research movement are the Faculty of Literature (99 reports), the Faculty of Oriental Studies (93 reports), the Faculty of International Studies (69 reports), the Faculty of Management Science (67 reports), the Faculty of History (66 reports)... There are 148 excellent topics that have been awarded faculty-level awards. Typical topics will be presented at the University-level Student Scientific Research Conference, scheduled to be held at the end of May. This year, the University also celebrates 15 years of student scientific research activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (1996-2010). In the 2008-2009 school year, the University had 1,026 students participating in scientific research (accounting for 18.9% of full-time students in the whole university) with 697 reports; awarded 63 individual prizes and 7 collective prizes at the university level. In the 2009 school year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had 15 student scientific research projects competing for the Student Scientific Research Award of the Ministry of Education and Training, of which 7 projects won prizes, including 1 Second Prize, 2 Third Prizes and 4 Encouragement Prizes. The school has been awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training for many consecutive years for its outstanding achievements in the Student Scientific Research Movement.
