On June 16, Seijong Korean Language Center Hanoi, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, held the closing ceremony of the 4th course and awarded certificates to more than 53 students of all levels.Seijong Korean Language Center Hanoi was established in 2011, based on a cooperation program between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Pusan ​​University of Foreign Studies, Korea, under the sponsorship and assistance of the Seijong Korean Language Institute of Korea. This institute is under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea, with the function of supporting and promoting the promotion of the image of Korea, especially through the development of Korean language and culture abroad. Seijong Korean Language Center Hanoi is responsible for teaching Korean in non-concentrated courses and granting certificates at each level of education. Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Gia Lam - Director of the Center said: Being formed and developed on the basis of close cooperation between two major universities in Vietnam and Korea, the Center brings many advantages to students. Lecturers are native speakers, have high expertise and teaching skills, are carefully selected, and meet the professional standards of Pusan ​​University of Foreign Studies and Seijong Korean Language Institute. If students continuously study from elementary to advanced courses, within 1 year, they will have enough Korean language ability to study at Pusan ​​University of Foreign Studies and many other universities in Korea. Pusan ​​University of Foreign Studies also has a preferential policy of tuition fee exemption and dormitory conditions for Vietnamese students studying abroad if they have attended Korean language courses at Seijong Korean Language Center Hanoi. Taking quality as the top criteria in training, the Center has attracted hundreds of students, many of whom have received scholarships from the Center for their excellent academic achievements. In the upcoming courses, to supplement learning activities, the Center will organize extracurricular activities to help students gain more understanding and experience the unique features of Korean culture. At the closing ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Gia Lam emphasized: he hopes that Vietnamese students and native teachers will not only work together to build quality lessons but also be ambassadors to help promote cultural exchange between the two countries.
