After a dramatic 6-meter penalty shootout, the female soccer team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities won against the team of the University of Foreign Languages, becoming the champion of the female soccer tournament of VNU, this afternoon, May 8, 2011.In the first half of the match, the USSH team continuously pressed the field and had good coordination in front of the opponent's goal. However, the girls of USSH continuously missed good opportunities, especially the penalty kick in the middle of the first half. In the second half, the advantage still belonged to the team in blue but there were still no goals scored. Entering the 6-meter penalty shootout, USSH was behind twice, but bravery and luck helped our girls win with a score of 3-2, gaining all 6 points after two matches and becoming the champion of the tournament.

This year's tournament had 4 women's teams participating, competing in a round robin to score points, however the team from the University of Natural Sciences withdrew. In the first match, the team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities won the team from the University of Economics with a score of 1-0.
