On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find a way to save the country (June 5, 1911 - June 5, 2011), four inter-university branches of the Faculty of Philosophy, History, Management Science and the Department of Political Science jointly organized the second contest "Learning about Ho Chi Minh's ideology".The competition consists of 4 main parts: Warm-up - Overcoming obstacles - Talent - Eloquence. In the first and second parts, the teams were equally talented, confident and excellent in answering questions about Ho Chi Minh's ideology. With the optional performances in the Talent section, the teams performed through various forms: drama performances by the Faculty of History and the Department of Political Science, storytelling performances by the Faculty of Philosophy and solo performances by the Faculty of Management Science. In the Eloquence section, most of the teams followed the theme closely and no team went over time. At the end of the competition, the prize for the team with the most outstanding talent belonged to the Faculty of Philosophy, which was also the team awarded the prize for the eloquence section. With a total score of 232 points, the Faculty of Philosophy won first prize in the "Understanding Ho Chi Minh's ideology" contest. Second prize went to the Faculty of History, and third prize went to the Faculty of Management Science and the Department of Political Science. In addition, the School Youth Union also awarded each team a gift. The title of most impressive cheerleading team was awarded to the Department of Political Science.

The contest “Learning Ho Chi Minh’s Thought” is an opportunity for each member and student to check and evaluate the “learning” process as well as demonstrate actions of “following” Ho Chi Minh’s moral example. This is also an opportunity for the 4 inter-branch unions to have more opportunities to exchange, discuss and learn from each other.
