During their stay here, Chinese students will visit some famous tourist and traditional cultural sites in Vietnam and participate in interactive activities with Vietnamese students. At the same time, they will also learn about Vietnamese culture, history and society through a series of lectures taught by leading professors of the University. The course is conducted in English.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) expressed his honor to welcome the delegation of teachers and students from Beijing Normal University; and thanked the Global Education Network for co-organizing the series of exchange events between Vietnamese and Chinese students in the recent period. The Rector also said that through bilateral exchanges, the young generation of Vietnam and China today has the mission of enhancing understanding and strengthening friendship between the two nations, which have many similarities. The Rector wished the Chinese students memorable experiences during their field trips and research in Vietnam.
This is the third time that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has welcomed and designed specialized courses for Chinese students. In August 2017, within the framework of the “Belt and Road Initiative” field trip, the University welcomed students from Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, and Jiangsu Normal University (China) to exchange and study. In November 2017, the University continued to welcome a delegation of students from Guangzhou University (China). After each course, Chinese students were awarded a certificate of completion.
