Nguyen Thanh Ly (Candidate number 46, student of K54, Faculty of Psychology) was crowned Miss Elegant Female Student Contest, 5th time, 2011, University of Social Sciences and Humanities.With the name Miss Gralent, this year's contest once again aims to honor the harmonious beauty between intelligence, soul and appearance of female students studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. After more than 6 weeks of competition, on the evening of December 9, 2011, 15 finalists experienced an exciting competition night at the Me Tri Dormitory Cultural House with the enthusiastic cheers of more than 1,000 spectators.
The final night was heated from the first minutes with the Open Dancing performance of all 15 contestants. Next were the performance rounds with Ao Dai, evening gowns and finally the behavioral round of the 5 most talented contestants. In the final results, Nguyen Thanh Ly (candidate number 46) became the new beauty queen of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; Tran Thi Quynh Trang (candidate number 78, K55 International Studies) won the title of 1st runner-up; Bui Thi Thuy Linh (candidate number 41, K56 CLC Literature) won the title of 2nd runner-up.
