There will be a “Startup Space” at USSH

The two important keywords that Professor Pham Quang Minh, Mr. Duong Anh Son and other members emphasized during the working session were startup and acceleration.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a center for training high-quality human resources in the field of social sciences and humanities. In particular, the Journalism and Communication Department, with 27 years of construction and development, has established its position and reputation with domestic and foreign partners. In addition, the student force in many majors is a high-quality human resource that can promote professional knowledge and creativity in research projects and social activities. The entrepreneurial spirit has been promoted by the University in recent years. The field of digital content communication is a new land that all students of all majors in the University can try their hand at. On the side of My Son Group Joint Stock Company, this unit has signed a cooperation agreement with LifeTV Joint Stock Company - a member of the Vietnam Internet Association in the field of digital content training and entrepreneurship. These are units with financial resources, experience in production and cooperation with Vietnamese press and media agencies and media corporations in the region.

The school and My Son Group Joint Stock Company will cooperate to train professional skills in mobile journalism (Mobile Journalism - MOJO). This is an activity that has been implemented at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication and the Center for Journalism and Communication (University of Social Sciences and Humanities). With this cooperation, MOJO courses in the coming time will have a new development step with a larger scale and improved quality. In particular, My Son Group Joint Stock Company will invest in equipment and finance, building a "startup space" for digital content communication for all students in the school. This space is designed to include a production room following the "techbox" model, where students can study, experiment and produce digital media products with professional equipment, the platform being mobile devices.

The "startup space" designed according to the "techbox" model is a place where students can freely study, experiment and produce digital media products.

In addition, in order to promote the capacity of the modern infrastructure system invested in the Center for Journalism and Communication, promote the intellectual resources of scientists, experts and a large number of students, the cooperation program will carry out the production of high-quality media products, in the spirit of "sprint up".

It is expected that “Startup Space” will be launched on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, November 20. The cooperation program between the School and My Son Group Corporation and related partners will be developed in detail and soon implemented.
