On the morning of November 24, 2012, at the 8th floor Hall of Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the International Conference on Training, Research and Application of Psychology in the Context of International Integration took place.
On the morning of November 24, 2012, at the 8th floor Hall of Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the International Conference on Training, Research and Application of Psychology in the Context of International Integration took place.Attending the conference were Dr. Trinh Ngoc Thach (Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture, Education, Youth and Children), Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Phu (Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Psychology - Education Association), Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Principal of the University), Prof. Dr. Odette Lescarret (Coordinator of Master of Psychology, Toulouse - Le Mirail University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Khanh Ha (Head of the Department of Psychology), domestic and foreign psychology scholars, along with teachers, master's students, researchers, students, and alumni of the Department of Psychology. The conference is an opportunity for domestic and foreign scholars to exchange experiences, understanding, and new research on prominent psychological and social issues in Vietnam and the world today. This is also an opportunity for alumni to express their gratitude to their teachers, for students, graduate students, and researchers to listen, learn, and draw lessons for themselves, and enhance their knowledge and understanding for future research. In his speech at the opening session, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh affirmed that “Over the past 15 years, the Department of Psychology has continuously developed and made increasingly important contributions to the overall development of the school and the psychology industry in Vietnam. The Department has achieved proud achievements in training, scientific research, and staff development. The Department's cooperative relationships have been constantly expanded and achieved results, contributing to enhancing the position of the Department and the school domestically and internationally”. Speaking at the conference, Dr. Trinh Ngoc Thach affirmed: “Psychology plays a very important role, contributing mainly to the education of knowledge and personality for people, an extremely important element of the modern socio-economic background”. After the opening session, delegates discussed at sub-committees on the afternoon of November 24, 2012 and visited the site on November 25, 2012.
