Attending the meeting, along with Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong, were also the Principal of the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities, Head of the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language and Head of the Training Department.
On behalf of the College of Industrial Technology, there were Mr. Dao Duc Quang (Vice Principal), Ms. Cao Thi Mai Phuong (Vice Principal) and leaders of departments and faculties in the school.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the College of Industrial Engineering, Mr. Dao Duc Quang shared: The College of Industrial Engineering has a history of 56 years of establishment and development, and is currently one of the 6 units training high-quality labor force of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In addition to its strength in training high-tech technical professions (mechanics, logistics, automation, electronics, information technology, ...) in recent years, the school has focused on developing new training majors: economics and international languages to meet local needs. Every year, the school maintains 7,000 students and more than 200 lecturers. Mr. Dao Duc Quang expressed his desire to strengthen cooperation between the two units to help improve the quality of the school's training programs as well as the team of lecturers, especially in newly established majors.
Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thu Huong congratulated the achievements that the College of Engineering and Technology has achieved after 56 years, and at the same time proposed possible cooperation contents between the two units: support, sharing experiences in recruitment communication work; consulting on building training programs, supporting highly qualified teaching staff for some new faculties and majors of the school to contribute to expanding and improving the quality of the school's training programs;... With experience in providing large economic groups with short-term training courses, projects to enhance the spirit of dedication, loyalty to businesses, building corporate culture for sustainable development, ... the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is ready to support the College of Engineering and Technology in diversifying training programs in addition to its strengths in vocational training.
In addition, the College of Industrial Engineering can also create conditions for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to visit and intern at enterprises and industrial parks in Bac Giang province or the school's partners.
At the end of the working session, the leaders of the two units agreed to have specific proposals on cooperation content between the two sides in 2022 and the following years, and assign focal points to coordinate implementation.
