Strengthening cooperation with businesses in training and scientific research

The event was attended by Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong (Vice Principal of the school), representatives of the Department of Student Affairs, Cooperation and Development, along with teachers and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

On the partner side, there are Mr. Park Sang Joo (General Director of SJ TECH Vietnam Co., Ltd.) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien (Secretary of the General Director).

In his speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong expressed his appreciation for the company's interest and introduced an overview of the history of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the school's strengths in the fields of training and scientific research. Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong shared: “With the mission of being one of the leading schools in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities, training both bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, over the years the school has provided high-quality human resources for businesses, corporations and public agencies in Vietnam. And to successfully complete that mission, one of the focuses in the coming time that the Board of Directors is very interested in is to promote cooperation with businesses: both improving the quality of training programs and further linking training activities with the needs of society and businesses. Cooperation with SJ TECH Vietnam Company is the desire and also the strategic orientation of the school in the coming time. Hopefully, there will be effective cooperation between the two units".

Mr. Park Sang Joo (General Director of SJ Tech Vietnam) introduced the Company's activities, emphasizing that: in addition to developing production and business activities in the field of technology and electronic equipment, the Company also focuses on developing public service activities, focusing on cooperation with universities in a number of countries in training and scientific research, especially research on Vietnamese and Korean culture. Through the Oesolhoe organization, SJ Tech Korea has awarded scholarships to many students, supporting students' internship and practical activities.

According to the Cooperation Agreement, in 2022-2023, SJ TECH Company will sponsor scholarships for Korean students of the school with the following criteria: Excellent Students; Students with difficult circumstances and Students with active activities in social work.

The signing ceremony was a great success. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong once again expressed his thanks, presented gifts and took souvenir photos.
