Cooperation Agreement with the Institute of Legislative Studies

On November 26, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Institute for Legislative Studies under the National Assembly Standing Committee signed a cooperation agreement. Attending the signing ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Rector of the University, Dr. Hoang Van Tu - Deputy Director of the Institute for Legislative Studies, leaders of the Center for Policy Research and Analysis, representatives of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, and leaders of functional departments.

Cooperation Agreement with the Institute of Legislative Studies
On November 26, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Institute for Legislative Studies under the National Assembly Standing Committee signed a cooperation agreement. Attending the signing ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Rector of the University, Dr. Hoang Van Tu - Deputy Director of the Institute for Legislative Studies, leaders of the Center for Policy Research and Analysis, representatives of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, and leaders of functional departments.The content of the cooperation agreement between the two sides will be implemented in the fields of scientific research, scientific information, and training on policy making. Specifically, it includes the following activities: organizing joint research; organizing seminars, workshops, sociological investigations, surveys; opening training courses to improve the capacity of cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the Institute for Legislative Studies and other subjects; participating in training work (teaching, reporting on topics, guiding students in scientific research, writing theses, graduation topics, etc.). At the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim emphasized the significance and importance of the cooperation agreement between the University and the Institute for Legislative Studies. The Vice President affirmed: The realization of research, training, socialization and integration programs linking the training and research work of the University with the general development of the country, including research and policy analysis, is of great significance to the current development of the University. And this cooperation agreement will create opportunities and motivation for both sides to exchange information, develop staff, and further strengthen cooperative relations...

Dr. Hoang Van Tu - Deputy Director of the Institute for Legislative Studies highly appreciated the long tradition of training, prestige and position of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The Deputy Director expressed his hope and belief that the two sides will cooperate closely and effectively... Established in 2008, the Institute for Legislative Studies is an agency under the National Assembly Standing Committee, with the function of researching theoretical and practical issues on the organization and operation of the National Assembly; organizing scientific information to support the implementation of tasks and powers of the National Assembly, National Assembly agencies and National Assembly deputies.
