Up to now, experts have predicted that the Covid-19 epidemic will be pushed back so that students nationwide can return to school soon. In case the Covid-19 epidemic lasts and students cannot go to school before June 15, causing the National High School Exam to be postponed, VNU has prepared a backup enrollment plan. Candidates submit their applications online to pre-screen candidates. Candidates whose high school academic results meet the pre-selection requirements for each training program of VNU will participate in a shortened competency assessment exam: Math - Literature (or essay) - Foreign Language...
It should be emphasized that, up to now, the separate exam plan of VNU is only a backup. Detailed information about the exam structure, exam format, and exam time is being researched and adjusted by specialized departments, shortened according to the principle of simplifying the exam but ensuring high classification; the exam format and content are compatible with the review knowledge of the National High School Exam. Therefore, candidates do not need to be too concerned or worried about the separate exam of VNU if they have organized a good review of the National High School Exam. The admission combination will also be adjusted accordingly according to the admission major using the separate exam of VNU. Accordingly, schools/faculties will use a combination of 2 or 3 or 4 exams/exam components... for admission. Detailed information about the reserve exam plan and the registered admission combination will be announced in detail before June 15, 2020.
Candidates can register for an unlimited number of wishes and be admitted to the highest wish (wish 1 is the highest wish) if they have enough points to pass the entrance exam for the registered major.
VNU advises candidates to spend time focusing on reviewing knowledge and completing sample tests of the national high school exam format at this time.
