Staff of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities attended a training course on communication and brand management at VNU.

Vice President of VNU Nguyen Hoang Hai speaks at the opening ceremony

The training course took place on October 21 and 22, 2020, and is part of the training plan for civil servants, public employees and employees of VNU in 2020.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, VNU Vice President Nguyen Hoang Hai acknowledged the efforts and results of VNU's communication work in recent times. He also requested that units pay attention and do better in communication work in general and internal communication work in particular. In the current context, agencies and units continue to use new media in addition to traditional methods. The Vice President requested that VNU's communication staff continue to learn and improve their expertise and professionalism to meet new requirements.

Director of the Press Department, Ministry of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam shares some information on responding to media crises from a leadership perspective.

Nearly 100 students, including leaders in charge of communications work of units under VNU, department-level leaders and equivalent, and communications specialists of units, attended the class.

At the training course, the trainees received a number of topics: "Responding to media crises from a leadership perspective" presented by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Director of the Press Department, Ministry of Information and Communications; "New media trends" presented by Dr. Vu Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Communications and Foreign Culture, Diplomatic Academy and "Management and development of social networks" presented by Dr. Pham Hai Chung, Institute of Journalism and Communications, University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

At the closing ceremony, Head of the Organization and Personnel Department Nguyen Hieu, Deputy Head of the Organization and Personnel Department Truong Thi Hue and Deputy Office Manager Pham Tien Toan awarded training certificates to the trainees.

Dr. Pham Hai Chung, Institute of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities presented a topic at the training class.

“New media trends” is the topic presented by Dr. Vu Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Communication and Foreign Culture, Diplomatic Academy at the training class.

Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel, VNU Nguyen Hieu awarded Certificates to students who are department-level leaders and equivalent.

Deputy Head of the Organization and Personnel Department Truong Thi Hue and Deputy Head of Office Pham Tien Toan awarded training certificates to the trainees.
