Journey to discover the heritage land of Hue - Hoi An - Da Nang by students of class 68 Tourism and Travel Services Management

Those are memorable experiences of students of the Faculty of Tourism during a comprehensive internship with the emotional name: "Sunny Journey".
Opportunities for students to study, research and accumulate practical knowledge
In the last days of June, students of K68 Tourism and Travel Services Management and 08 double degree students from the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU eagerly embarked on a meaningful trip "Sunny Journey" under the guidance of experienced lecturers, MSc. Dinh Nhat Le - Head of the delegation and Dr. Vu Huong Lan - Instructor. The trip took place in 5 days and 5 nights from June 30 to July 5 with the route Hue - Hoi An - Da Nang.
With the guidance of lecturers from the Faculty of Tourism, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the support of Asia Gate Travel Company, the preparations for the trip were planned and carried out by the students.
Each day of the “Sunny Journey” trip is truly meaningful for the students. That meaning comes from both the scenery and the people. If Hue is a golden heritage of a bygone era, both contemplative and proud, then Hoi An is a beautiful heritage of an entire urban trading culture, colorful and charming. Da Nang - the final stop brings the feeling of a contemporary heritage with an international breath and an integrated lifestyle.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - General Director of Asia Gate Travel Company shared: "Each trip with the children is not only for the purpose of sightseeing, entertainment, and finding interesting experiences, but it is also an opportunity to study, research, accumulate more practical knowledge as well as survey whether they are suitable for the tourism industry or not".

MSc. Dinh Nhat Le shared: “Each of your presence is a small ray of sunshine weaving the whole picture of “Sunny Journey”. Not only for the purpose of studying, VNU-USSH Tourism students travel to understand more about the country and its people, to love their homeland more; to love each tree branch, blade of grass, each mountain, each river, each dew drop, each ray of sunshine; to love each look, each smile more. Sometimes, they travel to understand themselves more, to love the colors of the Tourism flag more.
Unforgettable experiences and emotions of "Sunny Journey"
The dreamy land of Hue welcomed the trainees with the first destination being the “first ancient temple” of Hue – Thien Mu Pagoda. The pagoda is located on Ha Khe hill on the northern bank of the Huong River, over 400 years old and is considered a cultural and religious symbol of the ancient capital.

Located on the gentle Huong River, An Hien Garden House is the most valuable architectural work in Hue up to the present time. The ancient campus, close to nature, always filled with sunlight, brings the group back to the traditional space imbued with garden house architecture in ancient Hue.
Members of the General Internship Group took turns listening to a presentation about An Hien garden house.
The next destination of the delegation in Hue is Tu Duc Tomb - a work with the most impressive architecture in the system of tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty kings. Located in the middle of the charming landscape of mountains and forests, the tomb not only exudes the solemn and majestic appearance of the emperor but is also dotted with romantic and poetic features that captivate people's hearts.

A destination not to be missed when coming to the ancient capital - Hue Imperial City will leave an unforgettable mark on the journey "Finding the heritage land". Coming here, the members of the internship group were immersed in the space of the construction converging the historical beauty and the pinnacle of architecture of the Nguyen feudal era.

On the way to Hoi An, the General Training Group had the opportunity to visit the famous Bay Mau coconut forest eco-tourism area, enjoy the peaceful natural scenery from the lush green coconut forests, clear water canals and river trips with a rustic basket boat.

Coming to the world cultural heritage of Hoi An ancient town, members had free time to experience and explore the beauty of an ancient city, a once bustling trading port with unique, ancient architectural works imbued with time and a unique culinary map.

The next leg of the journey takes the group to explore the mysterious beauty, imbued with the architecture and culture of the Champa civilization at My Son Sanctuary. With more than 70 temples carved with exquisite and elaborate carvings typical of Champa art, this place is the crystallization of cultural, historical, artistic and architectural values ​​created over 9 centuries by the Cham people, rated on par with famous monuments in the Southeast Asian region.

At Son Tra peninsula, where there are beautiful beaches, diverse and rich natural ecosystems, known as the "green land", "precious gem" of Da Nang, the members visited Linh Ung pagoda. The pagoda leans against the solid Son Tra peak, considered the largest spiritual site in Da Nang city in both scale and art.
 
The Gala Dinner program is the focal point connecting the emotions of the whole group during the journey.
The final destination of the journey "Finding the heritage land" is to experience a day in the most livable city in Vietnam - Da Nang with extremely famous tourist destinations at home and abroad such as: Ba Na Hills, My Khe beach, Cu Lao Cham,... Coming to Hue - Hoi An - Da Nang, the students had deep impressions of the "golden triangle" of the Central region in particular and Vietnam in general, where there is an extremely rich source of tourism resources in both natural resources and human resources, which if exploited sustainably and effectively, will bring huge economic benefits to the country.
