Ngày 22/3/2011, Trường ĐHKHXH&NV đã tổ chức Hội nghị “Đào tạo trong quá trình chuyển đổi đào tạo theo tín chỉ” tại Ba Vì – Hà Nội. Hội nghị tổng kết, đánh giá hoạt động của công tác đạo tạo không chính quy, đồng thời triển khai phương hướng và nhiệm vụ trong thời gian tới.

Năm 2010, CHXHCN Việt Nam và CHLB Đức kỉ niệm 35 năm thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao (1975-2010). Cuốn sách mà quý vị đang cầm trên tay là công trình chào mừng sự kiện quan trọng này. Nó là kết quả hợp tác liên tục giữa hai cơ quan là Viện Goethe Hà Nội và Khoa Quốc tế học, Trường Đại học Khoa học Xã hội và Nhân văn, Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội. Ý tưởng này chắc chắn cũng không trở thành hiện thực nếu không có sự đóng góp của các nhà khoa học từ cả hai phía CHLB Đức và Việt Nam.

Commemorating the 1000th anniversary of the passing of National Master Khuong Viet, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with the Buddhist Academy and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, organized a scientific conference “National Master Khuong Viet and Vietnamese Buddhism in the early era of independence”, opening on the morning of March 18, 2011.

On March 17, 2011, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the University and representatives of the Faculty of International Studies had a meeting and worked with Prof. Dr. Laszlo Vass - Principal of the University of Business and Communication Budapest, Hungary.

Based on the results of the first consultative conference of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee held on February 24, 2011 and Official Dispatch No. 43/CV-HDND dated March 1, 2011 of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council on the approval of the proposal and introduction of candidates for the Hanoi City People's Council for the 2011-2016 term, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is recommended to introduce one candidate for the City People's Council for the next term.

This coming Wednesday morning (March 23, 2011), at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU), more than 500 Vietnamese and international students will attend the program "Sharing with Japanese friends" about the losses in the recent earthquake.

The Master's Degree Award Ceremony for 22 graduate students of the "Management of Organizations" (MADO) program, course 2, was held on March 16, 2011. At the same time, 23 students of the "Management of Organizations" program, course 3, also received certificates of completion of the first-level master's degree.

On the morning of March 16, 2011, staff of the two faculties of International Studies, Archives and QTVP had a training session on quality assessment of training programs under the guidance of Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Doan Dai (Quality Assurance Institute - VNU). Attending the session was Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice Rector of the school.
