On the evening of April 23, 2011, the contest "Managers with Intellectual Property" was held at the Me Tri Dormitory Cultural House with the participation of 4 teams from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, National Economics University, University of Commerce and the Academy of Finance.
On April 20 and 21, the first Consulting Professional Competition, the second round of presentation competition "Responsibility" took place with the participation of 8 teams: History, Philosophy, Tourism, Social Work, Archival and Office Administration, Literature, Management Science, Sociology.
On April 21, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector) and leaders of the Faculty of Management Sciences had a meeting and worked with Ms. Alexandra Mayr - Director of International Projects, University of Alicante (Spain). At the meeting, the Rector and Ms. Alexandra Mayr discussed the plan for cooperation between the two schools in building an intellectual property project under the sponsorship of the European Commission.
The 23rd Conference of the Trade Union Cluster of 5 Universities was recently held in Da Nang City. This year's conference was hosted by the Trade Union Standing Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU).
The Organizing Committee of the Academic Advising Competition launched the contest “Asking questions and creating situations for academic advisors” exclusively for students. The purpose of the contest is for students to participate in creating situations that need to be solved regarding academic advising; thereby selecting typical situations to make exam questions for academic advisors to compete.

At the invitation of The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation, three staff members of the University, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh, Dr. Bui Thanh Nam and Master Pham Quoc Thanh participated in the International Conference “US-Vietnam Relations: Striving for Stability, 2010-2020” held at the University of Montana (USA) from April 11-13, 2011.
