University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 3673/XHNV-DT dated May 16, 2025 of the Chairman of the Graduate Admissions Council, the Graduate Admissions Council respectfully announces the detailed interview schedule for candidates as follows:

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU is not only a place to train in-depth professional knowledge but also a dynamic and creative environment, helping students develop comprehensively through extracurricular activities. In particular, under the leadership of the Youth Union - Student Association of the school, 29 clubs, groups and teams have been established, becoming a space for exchange and learning for students to practice skills, cultivate ideals and assert themselves.

On the morning of May 20, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-Hanoi had a meeting to exchange and share experiences in financial management and implementing university autonomy mechanisms with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM. The meeting was an opportunity for the two universities to discuss practical operating models, strategies, tools and challenges in the current university autonomy process.

In order to facilitate candidates to take the exam and parents to pick up candidates to take the 2025 entrance exam for grade 10 of the Specialized High School for Social Sciences and Humanities, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities respectfully announces the following instructions:

On May 17, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) in collaboration with the Libero Institute for Liberal Education Development officially opened a course on Applied Eastern Philosophy with the theme "The Quintessence of Eastern Philosophy".

On May 18, at the online bridge of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), more than 500 party members who are lecturers and students of the University participated in the National Conference to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW, dated April 30, 2025 of the Politburo on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development.

On May 16, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with FSI Technology Development and Trade Investment Joint Stock Company in many fields.

A team of students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Hanoi, won the First Prize at the “Vietnamese Youth with Science and Technology Knowledge” Contest, held on May 15, 2025 at the Department of Information and Statistics – Ministry of Science and Technology.

On May 15, 2025, at the 2025 Science, Technology and Innovation Conference, VNU awarded Certificates of Merit from the President of VNU to nearly 150 scientists with outstanding achievements in scientific research in 2024.

In order to practically celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the National Scientific Conference "Uncle Ho with education, education with Uncle Ho" was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU on May 12, 2025 with the coordination of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia and Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son attended and directed the conference. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national reunification, on the morning of May 14, 2025, the Faculty of Literature - University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU organized a discussion on Nguyen Duy's Poetry: "Looking for relatives".

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia and Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son attended and directed the conference.

Education is the cause of the masses and socialist democracy must be fully promoted. This is an area that President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to.

To celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi organized an exhibition of images and documents with the theme "Uncle Ho with education, education with Uncle Ho".
