University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU

This is the content of the working session between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VNU-USSH) and the Journal of Vietnamese Studies (JVS) on the afternoon of July 8, 2023.

Through the production of paper from sugarcane leaves, a group of students from the Faculty of International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, hopes to create valuable agricultural products, increase income for sugarcane farmers and build a circular economic model in agriculture. This project won the highest award in the Mekong River competition with 20 teams from 6 countries participating.

To implement the work of considering and rewarding student scientific research projects (NCKHSV) in 2023, based on Decision No. 2970/QD-VNU dated August 17, 2015 on Regulations on organizing the consideration and rewarding of student scientific research projects, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) organizes the Awarding Councils with specific information as follows:

On the afternoon of August 2, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi signed a memorandum of understanding with Dalat University, University of Foreign Languages ​​- Hue University and Hong Bang International University.

These valuable scholarships were awarded to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) at the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam on August 3, 2023.

“Making a Difference – Social Work Without Barriers: Towards Sustainable Development and Responding to Emergencies” is the theme of the International Scientific Conference organized by the Faculty of Sociology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Hanoi on August 1-2, 2023.

On August 2, 2023, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice Rector of the school, together with representatives of the Department of Cooperation and Development, Department of Training, Department of Scientific Research Management and the Department of Sociology, had a meeting and worked with representatives of Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and the President of the World Association of Social Work Training Schools.

On August 1, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China (PolyU) signed a cooperation agreement focusing on cooperation in social work (CTXH), marking a new development step of the social work sector at VNU-USSH in particular and Vietnam in general.

On August 1, 2023, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, a signing ceremony of a cooperation document between the University and Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) - West Hanoi Branch took place.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi announces to candidates the results of the Vietnamese proficiency test according to the Vietnamese Proficiency Framework for Foreigners held on July 29, 2023.

On July 30, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi solemnly held a Degree Award Ceremony for New Doctors and New Masters who were recognized for their doctoral and master's degrees in 2023.
