The Prime Minister has just issued Decision No. 58/2010/QD-TTg on promulgating the "University Charter", dated September 22, 2010.The Charter consists of 11 chapters and 57 articles regulating the organization and operation of the university. This Decision takes effect from November 10, 2010 and replaces Decision No. 153/QD-TTg dated July 10, 2003. The Charter stipulates the tasks and powers of the university; organization of educational and training activities; scientific and technological activities; international cooperation; tasks and rights of lecturers, civil servants and public employees; tasks and rights of learners; organization and management of the university; university finance and assets; relations between the university, family and society.
