Opportunities to study and research in the US

On September 22, representatives of the US Embassy in Vietnam held a presentation about the 2011 Fulbright Scholar Program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.The presentation at the School provided important information about: the history of Fulbright in Vietnam and around the world, specific information about the selection criteria, covered expenses, and the application process of the Fulbright Vietnam Scholar Program. The Fulbright Vietnam Scholar Program is one of Fulbright's traditional programs, in which Vietnamese scholars are selected to teach and conduct research at American universities for a period of 3 to 9 months. Every year, 6 to 8 Vietnamese scholars will be selected. The program only accepts online applications and the deadline for submission is October 15, 2010. This program will create opportunities for young staff of the School to participate in studying and researching in the fields of social sciences and humanities in the United States.
