Pursuant to Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated February 8, 2022 of the Prime Minister and Official Dispatch No. 283/BGDĐT-GDTC dated January 24, 2022 of the Minister of Education and Training on direct teaching at educational institutions;
Pursuant to Conclusion No. 296/TB-DHQGHN dated February 10, 2022 of the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi at the Conference on training work for the 2021-2022 academic year;
The Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi requests units to seriously implement the following main contents:
1. Teaching and learning schedule and format
Training units inform students, trainees, and graduate students of the teaching plan and format for the second semester of the 2021-2022 school year as follows:
- For high school students, they study according to the schedule of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
- For undergraduate students, online learning will begin from February 14, 2022 to February 26, 2022 and will return to in-person learning from February 28, 2022.
- For postgraduate level, postgraduate students and doctoral students return to in-person learning from February 21, 2022.
2. Conditions for students to return to in-person learning
2.1 Training units
- It is recommended that students receive at least 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine; For students who have not received 2 doses of vaccine, units should make a list and send it to the Department of Politics and Student Affairs.
- Units with international students: Receive students, coordinate with the Training Department to develop appropriate teaching and learning plans, and at the same time make a list of students needing support for entry and visa application to the Cooperation and Development Department.
2.2 Department of Politics and Student AffairsCoordinate with the Youth Union and related units to develop a disease prevention plan suitable to reality and have a plan to care for and support students in the F0 category who live far from their families, stay outside as well as in the dormitory; Compile a list of students who have not received 2 doses of vaccine and send it to VNU Hospital and local health care to receive immediate support for vaccination for students in the first week of returning to school; Arrange a hotline number to receive information and answer questions related to Covid-19 in general throughout the school before February 18, 2022.
2.3. Department of Cooperation and DevelopmentCompile a list of students needing support for entry and visa application, and send it to the Cooperation and Development Department of VNU to receive support for entry and visa procedures.
2.4. General Administration DepartmentPrepare full facilities and equipment for teaching, arrange separate isolation rooms when detecting students suspected of being infected with F0, and equipment for measuring temperature, antiseptic water, masks, etc. to ensure safety in disease prevention. Prepare a plan to quickly collect samples for testing for all students, lecturers, staff, and lecturers in the school, or collect samples by area or class; as well as a plan for temporary blockade and cleaning and disinfection in case of detecting F0; Prepare a backup plan for facilities in case some classes need to be switched to online learning, and the entire school needs to switch to online learning.
2.5. Inspection and Legal DepartmentUrge and remind cadres, lecturers, students, postgraduates to properly implement the 5K Message, as well as regulations on Covid-19 epidemic prevention...
2.6. Training DepartmentCoordinate with training units to develop plans and instructions for make-up classes, retakes, and re-examinations for students who unfortunately contracted Covid-19 (F0) and students who are subject to quarantine (F1) in a suitable manner and ensure training quality (no additional tuition or fees for these subjects). At the same time, review undigitized textbooks and send them to the VNU Library Information Center to digitize textbooks for teaching and learning purposes.
2.7. Covid-19 Prevention Steering CommitteeDevelop a Covid-19 prevention plan when there is a case of Covid-19 (F0), suspected Covid-19, or close contact (F1) before February 18, 2022 and organize propaganda and guidance for staff, lecturers, students, postgraduates, and doctoral students on the Covid-19 prevention and control process. Establish a permanent working group to support and handle arising issues related to the Covid-19 epidemic.
2.8. Youth Union and Student AssociationLaunching the movement "Green School, Green Classroom, Safe from Covid-19", recommending that students and trainees get at least 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bring their own drinking water, check their body temperature, declare their health before coming to school, recommend testing when showing signs of cough, fever, or difficulty breathing; limit gatherings; strictly implement the 5K Message and epidemic prevention regulations; respond to the epidemic calmly...
To ensure that teaching and learning activities are carried out in accordance with regulations, safely and with quality, the School Principal requests that heads of training units and functional departments strictly carry out their responsibilities in directing, managing, inspecting and supervising training activities, and COVID-19 prevention and control activities according to current regulations and guidelines; regularly pay attention to, grasp and update information on the epidemic situation related to staff, lecturers, students, trainees, and postgraduates of their units; promptly report to the Board of Directors and the School's Epidemic Prevention Steering Committee if any problems arise at the unit.
