On teaching and learning after the Lunar New Year holiday at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 161/ĐHQGHN-CT&CTHSSV dated January 19, 2022 of the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi on preparing for students to return to school from semester II of the 2021-2022 school year;

Pursuant to the conclusion of the meeting on January 25, 2022 chaired by the President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi;

The President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, hereby announces to heads of units, lecturers, students, postgraduates, and doctoral students the study plan after the Lunar New Year holiday, specifically as follows:

1. Full-time university students:

- Courses QH-2018-X, QH-2017-X, QH-2016-X and high-quality courses according to Circular 23 will study online from February 14, 2022 to February 26, 2022, and return to in-person learning at the School from February 28, 2022. In case, lecturers of the above in-person classes need to teach in a hybrid model of online and in-person teaching(blended learning), training units are requested to register with the Training Department to be assigned appropriate teaching positions and notify students.

- Courses QH-2019-X, QH-2020-X, QH-2021-X continue to study online starting from February 14, 2022 until further notice.

2. Part-time university students:Online learning from February 14, 2022. In case the training unit can organize direct teaching, please register with the Training Department to arrange a suitable schedule and notify lecturers and students to implement.

3. Graduate and doctoral students:For classes held at the School, they will be taught directly at the School from February 21, 2022; For applied-oriented graduate classes held in provinces outside Hanoi, the head of the training unit is responsible for developing a plan and registering with the Training Department and notifying lecturers and students to implement.

4. Students of High School for Social Sciences and Humanities:follow the school schedule of the Hanoi Department of Education. The Principal of the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities informs teachers and students to follow.

To ensure that direct and online teaching and learning are carried out in accordance with regulations, safely and with quality, the School Principal requests that heads of training units and functional departments strictly carry out their responsibilities in directing, managing, inspecting and supervising training work, COVID-19 prevention and control work according to current regulations and guidelines; regularly pay attention to, grasp and update information on the epidemic situation related to staff, lecturers, students, trainees, and graduate students of their units; promptly report to the Board of Directors and the School's Epidemic Prevention Steering Committee if any problems arise at the unit.
