“The connection between training activities at schools and employers and businesses must be an inseparable interactive process..." - that was the statement of Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - at the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Vietnam Association of Business Administrators (VBA) held on May 29, 2008.
This is an important event, considered a turning point in the effort to learn, exchange information and cooperate between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - as a training unit and HCNQTDNVN - representing human resource employing agencies. And in the current context, when the connection between training and the practical needs of the labor market has become an urgent requirement for education and training in our country, this event becomes even more meaningful.
Emphasizing the benefits of both sides when "joining hands" in this cooperation agreement, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh said: "Through cooperation, businesses, in addition to promoting their image, also participate in the training process as a form of investment in high-quality labor resources to select products that meet the requirements of businesses through the commitment to prioritize human resources from the School.”. On the school side, this cooperation will “contribute to improving the quality of training". And students will "have orientation and choose a career that suits your abilities right from the start, and at the same time test the value and effectiveness of the knowledge you have learned.”.

He also believes that with this cooperation, the future generation of business administrators - students sitting in school today - are expected to be the ones to continue and develop the dynamic and creative tradition of Vietnamese business administrators, contributing to improving the quality of management and competitiveness of businesses and the country in the globalization process.
After a period of discussion, the two sides agreed to cooperate comprehensively in all three basic areas: training - scientific research - human resource use. Accordingly, the main cooperation contents include:
One is: Cooperate to improve the quality of training activities. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will develop training programs, compile textbooks, documents and organize training courses at all levels and in all fields ordered by HCNQTDNVN. HCNQTDNVN will participate in giving opinions on the content of the internship program, creating conditions for students of the school to do internships at businesses...
Two is: Cooperate in organizing scientific research activities, exchanging experiences and other activities. The two sides will jointly develop specific scientific research cooperation projects for each stage to support and coordinate the implementation of research topics in areas of mutual interest.
Three is: Cooperation in using human resources. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will give priority to introducing excellent students and postgraduates with suitable professional qualifications for HCNQTDNVN to select and work at member units. HCNQTDNVN provides recruitment information and creates conditions for the school's students to apply for positions that need to be recruited at member organizations and businesses.
In the presence of many guests and the press, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector - representing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Dr. Han Manh Tien - Chairman - representing the Vietnam National University of Social Sciences and Humanities signed the cooperation agreement.
