First of all, let me send you - the new graduates of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU - my most sincere and warmest congratulations. I wish I were the new graduates today. Looking at you in your gowns, my heart is filled with emotions. You are the center of today's ceremony. At this moment, you have the right to be proud of yourselves because many people never even have the opportunity to step foot into the university door and many people even studied but did not complete that program.

Time flies so fast. Just yesterday, you were still bewildered going to school, but now you have to say goodbye. Remembering the first friends in adulthood who came from strange lands with different accents. Remembering the respected professors that in high school you only knew through books. Remembering the cold winter days, the hot summer days. Remembering the jokes and tears. Remembering the anger and the awkward but romantic confessions of student life. Goodbye everyone. At this moment, we are even more grateful to our teachers because "Without teachers, you can't do anything"; grateful to our friends because "Learning from teachers is not as good as learning from friends" and especially grateful to our parents because "Father's merit is like Thai Son mountain, mother's love is like water flowing from the source". Without parents, we would not have today.

From today, your life will turn a new page. One door closes to open another. Graduating from university does not mean the end of learning. Lifelong learning -Lifelong learning- is the new requirement of the 4.0 revolution era. Wherever we go, we will not forget this prestigious USSH - the school built by the names of many generations of talented scientists such as Literature professors Dang Thai Mai, Hoang Xuan Nhi, Ha Minh Duc...; Philosophy professor Tran Duc Thao; History professors Dinh Xuan Lam, Phan Huy Le, Ha Van Tan, Tran Quoc Vuong...; or heroes like Le Anh Xuan whose posture has been carved into history... You should be proud, worthy of this school and be the ones to continue writing new pages of history. Later, on all roads of the Fatherland, you will certainly meet generations of former students who once spent their youth here, and will share memories and values ​​of this school. That is critical thinking, the spirit of overcoming difficulties, and noble humanity.

Goodbye to this school, but ahead is a new horizon, open but also full of challenges. The world and the country today have changed. Gone are the days of Vietnam's division and war; gone are the days when we often praised a Vietnam with "golden forests, silver seas, fertile land, and much help from brotherly countries". Gone are the days when poet Tran Dan had to "Crying for horizons without people flying, and crying for people flying without horizons". A wide open world is welcoming you: Not only the beloved S-shaped land but also the ASEAN community and new horizons. The Fatherland, family and teachers always follow your every step.

So what is the baggage that you bring to those horizons? It is determination, dreams, passion and love for humanity. Having love is having everything. If asked, I would still choose this school.
