Today, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Hanoi, organized the 10th Congress for the 2019-2022 term. On behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the University, I warmly welcome distinguished guests, former comrades of the University's Youth Union through the periods and 192 outstanding youth union members, representing more than 7,000 Youth Union members of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to attend the 10th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

The 10th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU is an important political event of the Youth Union and the University. The success and the orientations and key tasks of the Congress always have an impact on the implementation of the political tasks of the University, on the thoughts, feelings, dedication and contributions of the youth to the University. In that spirit, at this Congress, I would like to speak and discuss with you some of the following contents:
With the tradition of solidarity and the pioneering spirit of the youth in the development of a university with a 74-year tradition, the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has always been a typical political organization, with a dynamic, youthful, creative team, actively participating in most areas of the school's work. The comrades have not been afraid of hardships and difficulties, overcoming many challenges to work with the school's collective to bring our University of Social Sciences and Humanities to always develop and achieve many important achievements.
In the past term, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University has achieved remarkable results. The programs and movements initiated by the Youth Union at all levels have always been effectively implemented by the Youth Union of the University. Movements among young cadres and students such as: "Cadres with 3 responsibilities", Cadres "Solid expertise, good skills, standard working style", "5 good students"; activities to support union members and students in studying and scientific research such as "WE PASS", "Green Torch" Award in scientific research... have spread the intellectual and humane qualities in each cadre, union member, student and our university community. In addition, the initiative and volunteer spirit in community activities as well as the implementation of political tasks assigned by the Party Committee and the University have always received the response of the youth. The Youth Union deserves to be the pioneering and pioneering force in many important political tasks of the University.

The firstThe School Youth Union Executive Committee needs to do a better job of political and ideological education for student union members, training them in political awareness, awareness of law compliance; love for the homeland and country, national pride and self-respect; training the ethics, lifestyle, and mettle of youth union members in the face of challenges and changes of the times; excellently completing the tasks entrusted by the Party, the country and the people.
Monday, the activities of the School's Youth Union need to continue to closely follow the major orientations, programs and key tasks of the Central Youth Union, Hanoi Youth Union and VNU Youth Union; combine the direction of the Youth Union at all levels with the effective implementation of the School's youth activities. The Youth Union movements need to develop in a practical direction, with real depth, more clearly demonstrating the intellectual quality and unique values of the Youth Union movement of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a leading training and research center in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities in the country.
Tuesday,There needs to be practical solutions to unite union members and young people; help union members and students raise their awareness of their responsibilities and roles in regularly training their will andCollege Spirit; constantly strive to ensure the quality of study, passion for scientific research. This is the central political task of the school's youth. If we can do so, we will contribute to making the University of Social Sciences and Humanities soon become a modern research university, a smart, innovative university, contributing to integrating the school with the general development of VNU and the education sector of the whole country.
Wednesday, The Party Committee of the University wishes that the Youth Union must truly be a core organization that gathers the strength of youth solidarity and is a close friend, always accompanying, sharing, a place to entrust faith, scientific dreams, the spirit of self-reliance, career establishment, constant innovation and creativity. The Youth Union movement of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has many conditions to develop further and if we have a good orientation, grasp and further connect the Youth Union activities with the great tasks of the country and the great goals that humanity is interested in, the Youth Union activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will be able to reach a higher level, and can become aNew, advanced modelof the Youth Union movement of VNU-Hanoi and Hanoi Capital. The Party Committee and the collective of the University always believe that the youth of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are rich in potential and enthusiasm, rich in courage and intelligence and certainly you will be able to do that.
ThursdayThe Congress elected 21 members of the Executive Committee of the School Youth Union Term X, with comrade Tran Bach Hieu as Secretary. The School hopes that the Executive Committee Term X will truly be a united, courageous and creative collective, successfully implementing the Congress's resolution. The Executive Committee of the School Youth Union Term X will become a center for converging and spreading humanistic values, a dynamic spirit and always striving to conquer academic heights, master knowledge, theory, methods, skills... to prepare the basic conditions and provisions for tomorrow's career, while contributing to the cause of nation building and increasingly deep international integration of the Fatherland of Vietnam.
On behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the School, I would like to sincerely thank the superior Youth Union organizations, the Party Committee of VNU, the leaders, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of VNU, generations of leaders of the School's Youth Union, the comrades in the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and the School (Trade Union, Student Association, Veterans Association, Former Teachers Association...), for their trust, sincere feelings, affection and always encouraging, caring, and closely directing the activities of the School's youth.
On this occasion, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the School would like to express our sincere thanks to the Youth Union of units inside and outside VNU. Comrades have supported and connected with the School's youth movement throughout the past time. Hopefully, in the coming time, with the slogan of action "Innovation, Creativity, Civilization, Integration", the Youth Union and youth movement of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will continue to achieve many new achievements and receive attention from the Union at all levels, especially the Youth Union from schools and member units of VNU.
