Expanding international joint training

On the morning of September 20, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School - had a meeting and worked with representatives of Bansomdej University (Thailand) and the National University of Laos.The content of the working session focused on two main issues: Firstly, preparing for the international conference "Preserving and promoting national identity" chaired by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with Bansomdej University, which will take place in December. The conference is expected to take place from December 16 to 19. The conference program includes: Conference of rectors, scientific seminars, and field trips. Secondly, discussing the implementation of the Southeast Asian Studies and Asian Studies training programs, building them into two international joint programs with high internationality. At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh expressed his hope that Bansomdej University and the National University of Laos will coordinate with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to develop an international research project on climate change with the theme "Local knowledge to respond to natural disasters in the context of climate change". On this occasion, the Rector also invited the principals of the two schools to attend the 65th Anniversary of the tradition of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in mid-November.
