On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Faculty of Tourism Studies - University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a celebration program with the theme: "Tourism associated with protecting the biodiversity environment - Tourism towards the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi", on the evening of September 27, 2010.
On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Faculty of Tourism Studies - University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a celebration program with the theme: "Tourism associated with protecting the biodiversity environment - Tourism towards the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi", on the evening of September 27, 2010.The program took place with many rich and exciting activities such as: propagating the meaning of protecting the biodiversity environment with tourism activities and other socio-economic activities; performing arts to celebrate the World Tourism Day on September 27 and the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi; fashion show and drama with the theme "For a biodiversity environment"; exchanges between guests and students. This is one of the annual activities of the Faculty of Tourism, aiming to raise awareness of tourism workers in particular and the community in general in directing current and future tourism activities towards sustainable development goals such as: Tourism for a Green - Clean - Beautiful environment; Tourism - Connecting journey; Tourism - For a green planet... This year, the program continues to respond to the slogan of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) which is "Tourism associated with protecting the biodiversity environment". Many other activities will be implemented by the Faculty of Tourism, such as: organizing volunteer cycling for a green - clean - beautiful environment (expected in March 2011), participating in the program to vote for Ha Long Bay as a new natural wonder of the world by the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism.
